For the ultimate in flexible meeting space
The Virtual Neurology Conference Centre
(VNCC) is the perfect venue

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Virtual Neurology Centre (VNCC)?
The VNCC is a self contained dedicated conference environment offering outstanding support staff and the latest in e-learning technology.

What is the primary VNCC service?
It offers a 24/7 accessible virtual conference environment, where people from anywhere in the World can watch a series of conference lectures. The main conference theatre will be dedicated to this.

What are the “Breakout Suites” and “E-library” for?
The Breakout suites and the E-library offer mainly “text” based education, i.e. themed education “portals” providing fast links to other web sources that will drastically speed up people’s learning.

How do visitors access the VNCC?
Everyone has access to the “Family VNNC”.  Some events are free to watch, for others there will be a small charge where the viewer will have to purchase some “credits”.

Will my details be secure?
All the details we have about each person will be secure and never shared with any other organisation.

How do you ensure high quality streaming?
Production quality can be a worry on the web, our Team are here to ensure that all our events are of the highest class;  offering superb and consistent quality.  The VNCC Technical Production team is excellently equipped to organise and deliver creative virtual conferences.  With an in-depth knowledge of e-learning and its constantly changing technical challenges our Team is in the best position to offer a high quality service.

What do I do if a lecture keeps stopping (not streaming fluently)?
This is probably due to high usage of your local broadband service, which is out of our control.  All you need to do though is press the pause button on the screen handset, wait for 2-3 minutes for the streaming to move on, you can then press the play button again and the lecture should run smoothly.

The best and probably only way to view all our content is with broadband.

When could my organisation have a conference?
You can launch any event at any date chosen by you.

How long can my organisation’s conference last?
This is your choice, but we recommend no longer than one hour, as concentrating at a PC for longer than this is difficult.  If there is more material than one hour we suggest it is offered as a separate event.

How long can my organisation’s conference be available at the VNCC?
This is your choice.  We would recommend no more than 12-18 months but it is your choice.

Why are you offering your services for free to smaller charities?
NeuroEducation has a primary aim of providing accessible education to all.  We recognise that smaller charities often do not have the budgets to develop a site like the VNCC, therefore why not have one site that many organisations can share.  It is also beneficial to NeuroEducation as working with smaller charities helps develop the VNCC and fulfil our primary aim.

Who are Reelsound and Xtreme Multimedia?
Both companies have completed many digital education projects in the past.  Reelsound complete all the recording of conferences and they are noted for their high quality work in many fields, i.e. music.  What they do for the VNCC is “easy” when compared with their recording work for large music concerts.  Reelsound will also host and organise the VNCC.

Xtreme Multimedia are programming and web “experts”.  They have media accounts with many multi-national companies in addition to their work for the VNCC.
